Basically I'm thinking about starting to get rid of my ridiculous collection of 1/24 scale model cars, and I don't really know where to start. The main thing I'm concerned about is what I'd have to pay to ship them, and if it's really even worth selling them for $10-20 each. Like the title says, has anyone here sold a decent amount of stuff on ebay? What was your experience like?

...But you'll list them here first, right?

Last summer I sold a bunch of Jordan's on eBay. Make sure to take many, high-quality pictures for each item. The only hassle I encountered was people constantly contacting for further details, so maybe just make a really good/thorough item description.

I've sold lots of stuff on there with pretty good results. You do get the occasional idiot buyer that doesnt pay, or wants a refund. USPS parcel post is the cheapest way to ship. You might have to sell them in lots instead of individually to make it worthwhile.

I sell some old electronics on eBay sometimes, I've never had a real problem with affordable shipping. I use USPS and go for the cheapest option with tracking. Tracking makes people happy.

You don't pay for shipping, make the buyer pay for it. eBay has a calculator which buyers can figure out how much shipping is going to cost, based on the package dimensions you enter when you create the listing. Enter the dimensions of whatever you ship the model in. Set up a Paypal account too.

I was wondering about that, thanks!
